For a decade, Marian Baldini has been the guiding force behind KenCrest, steering the organization through transformation, growth, and an unwavering commitment to empowering the lives of those it serves. With a career spanning more than 48 years in human services, her impact is immeasurable, her leadership inspiring, and her vision enduring. And now, as she prepares to retire, Marian leaves behind not just a legacy, but a foundation built for the future—a future that will now be shaped by KenCrest’s newly appointed CEO, Aurora Kripa.

Marian’s journey with KenCrest has been defined by advocacy, innovation, and an unrelenting dedication to inclusion. Under her leadership, the organization expanded its reach, embraced new models of support, and ensured that every individual—regardless of ability—had access to meaningful opportunities. Her tenure was not just about leading an organization; it was about nurturing a community where everyone belongs.

As KenCrest turns the page to a new chapter, Aurora Kripa stands ready to lead. Having served as KenCrest’s Chief Human Resources Officer in 2019 and later as the Chief Operating Officer, Aurora brings not only a wealth of experience but also a deep understanding of the organization’s mission. Much like Marian’s, her journey has been fueled by a passion for human services and a commitment to ensuring that every person KenCrest supports can live a life of dignity and fulfillment. Aurora has been instrumental in shaping KenCrest’s strategic initiatives, ensuring sustainability, and fostering an inclusive culture.

"It is an honor to follow Marian in this work," said Aurora. "KenCrest has been positively transforming people's lives and communities for the last 120 years. I look forward to leading with purpose and ensuring that our actions continue to align with KenCrest's mission.”

For KenCrest, this transition is not just about leadership—it’s about the continuation of a mission that has, for more than a century, been dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and children and families in need. With Aurora at the helm, the organization is poised to evolve while staying true to the values that have defined it for so long.

As Marian steps into retirement, she leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire. Her dedication, vision, and tireless advocacy have left an indelible mark on KenCrest, and while she will be greatly missed, her influence will be felt for years to come.

With a heartfelt farewell to Marian and a warm welcome to Aurora, KenCrest embraces the future—one filled with promise, passion, and an unwavering commitment to those it serves.
