Philadelphia Vaccine Mandate to Protect Us From COVID-19
Mandate Updated: All Staff working in Philadelphia IDD Services; have the potential to work in Philadelphia; work in a supervisory role; or work in the 960 or 930 offices must receive their first vaccination by October 22nd, 2021.
All Early Learning staff must still be fully vaccinated by October 30th, 2021.
In response to the City of Philadelphia’s COVID-19 vaccination mandate extension, KenCrest is adjusting the timelines for our internal vaccination mandate. Any agency position that required vaccination due to KenCrest’s agency mandate of October 15th will now have until 10/22/21 to receive at least one dose of the COVID vaccine and be fully vaccinated within 30 days. Twice a week required testing for those granted exemptions in accordance with the mandate will be begin the week of October 28, 2021. Information on required testing will be communicated in the coming week.
Adjusted timelines do not impact the Early Learning program (under the Philadelphia School District) mandate currently in place.
