Interns Turn Employees

Shytina, Mayon, and Mikail, Parkway West High School students, interned at one of our Early Learning Centers. They will soon earn their Child Development Associate Certification and sign on to become full-fledged employees here at KenCrest West. The students also received 12 credits already under their belt for College.
“Coming here and having the hands-on experience, it became this blooming, opening of opportunities,” said Jones. “I didn’t think I was good with kids, but I have this patience and understanding I never would have known.”
