Intake/Referral Process

At KenCrest, we are driven to provide quality supports and services to as many community members as we can. We believe in helping people achieve their goals and their dreams, and prioritize both as we help people and their families choose the KenCrest program that's best for them.

All KenCrest programs accept admissions on a rolling basis, based on capacity. Please take a moment to review our intake and referral process.

For Adult I/DD Residential and Community Options Services

We serve anyone with an intellectual or developmental disability, this includes autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, fragile x, Williams syndrome, Prader-Willi syndrome, etc.

  • For all Residential Options: Prospective participants must be current residents of Pennsylvania, Delaware, or Connecticut, and possess a waiver for I/DD services. Need a waiver? Contact your state Human Services department :
  • For our Community Participation Options: Prospective participants must be current residents of Pennsylvania and possess a waiver for I/DD services.
  • For our Clinical services, all disability waivers are accepted for support.

For All Disability Employment Services
  • Participants must be a resident of the state of Pennsylvania and reside in the Southeastern region.
  • Adult participants must possess a disability waiver, vocational funding source, or be receiving social security disability benefits.
  • Youth participants must be between the ages of 15 and 21, and enrolled in a high school program.

For Children Early Intervention Services
  • All Early Intervention services in Pennsylvania are arranged through your local respective County. Visit our Resources page to find your local County's website to request early intervention supports (including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, behavioral supports, evaluations, or special instruction). For Medically Fragile Children’s Services

For our medically fragile children's homes, your child must be under the age of 2 for admission, currently residing in a Southeastern Pennsylvania hospital, and require breathing support. For Children Early Learning Services
  • All children and their families must reside within the Philadelphia city limits
  • Children must be under the age of 5 for enrollment
